Learn about Calculator Value, including how our calculators are built, reviewed, and updated.
CalculatorValue.com is an online platform where we build calculators and supporting guides for a variety of fields, including finance, health, mathematics, science, engineering, and everyday utilities.
Calculator Value was started in 2023 by Saqib Hanif to help people solve real problems through calculators. Along with team member Hafiz Muhammad Waqar, we work to make calculations easier and aim to provide practical tools across multiple domains.
We focus on creating calculators and content in areas such as math, sports, science, and finance, with the goal of saving time, improving clarity, and making complex calculations simple for everyone.
Many useful calculators are hard to find online, leaving people without the tools they need to simplify complex calculations. We try to address this by building calculators that are helpful and easy to use.
Our mission is to make calculations easier and more accessible for everyone, whether you're a student, a professional, or someone who needs quick results.
We work to keep our calculators accurate and reliable. Our process includes:
Our calculators and guides are created through a team workflow. Roles can overlap depending on the topic, but in general:

Creates and maintains most calculators (logic, formulas, and implementation). He also writes and formats supporting content across multiple topics, and refines drafts for structure, clarity, and usability. For more details, visit his profile.

Drafts and reviews finance-related calculator explanations and supporting content, including clear “How it works” notes in simple terms. He also supports review of sports-related calculators where applicable. Waqar is self-taught through online learning and practical experience and has around 8 years of experience in real estate and finance. For more details, visit his profile.
We update calculators when we improve assumptions, clarify explanations, fix bugs, or respond to user feedback. Updates may include:
We also display a “Last Updated” date on this page so you can see when this content was last refreshed.
We try to avoid guesswork. When building calculators, we generally rely on standard formulas and commonly referenced materials (such as textbooks, official documentation, public guidelines, or widely used industry references).
Our calculators include a “How it works” section or button that explains the formula used, key assumptions, limitations, and supporting references where applicable.
We test calculators and review logic carefully, but we’re human and mistakes can happen. If you spot an issue (wrong output, confusing step, typo, or outdated assumption), please tell us so we can fix it.
If possible, include the calculator link, your input values, what you expected, and what result you got.
Some topics—especially finance and health—can affect important decisions. For those calculators and guides, we aim to apply extra care in testing and in how we explain assumptions and limitations.
At CalculatorValue.com, our vision is to keep improving and expanding our calculator library so more people can solve problems faster and with more clarity.
We focus on practical tools, clear explanations, and continuous improvement.
If you have an idea for a new calculator, or if you want to request a new calculator, we'd love to hear from you. Our team is open to suggestions and ideas to improve the platform.
