What is the Waxing Tip Calculator?

The Waxing Tip Calculator is a smart and handy tool that helps you confidently calculate how much to tip your waxing specialist based on:

  • The total cost of the waxing service
  • Your satisfaction level (Excellent, Good or Poor)
  • A tip Percentage or a custom amount (optional)

Whether you had a basic waxing or a full body waxing, our calculator will display the total payment, including tip, once you enter the service cost and your satisfaction level.

How to Use the Waxing Tip Calculator – Step by Step

  1. Waxing service cost:
    • Enter the full cost of the waxing service before the tip. For example, if the waxing service cost is 60 dollars, enter that value.
  2. Choose Your Satisfaction Level:
    • There are three levels to describe the quality of the service:
      • Excellent Service: Sets the tip percentage to 25%.
      • Good Service: The standard option, which sets the tip to 20%.
      • Poor Service: Sets the tip to around 15%, or lower if you prefer.
    • For example, if you received outstanding service, you would select Excellent
  3. Tip Percentage or Manual Tip Amount (Optional):
    • Both the tip percentage and manual tip amount fields are auto-filled based on your selected satisfaction level. However, you can manually adjust either field, and doing so will override the satisfaction-based calculation.
